Just Be

Life is busy. We have an endless to-do list. We might as well be compared to the Energizer Bunny who just keeps going and going and going…

We are human BEings, not human DOings. But we often forget this as we “Go Go Go!”

Just be.

But what exactly does that mean? Are we to stop, drop, and meditate? I’m not sure it has to be that drastic. That alone sounds a bit task-y.

Perhaps it is to physically stop and take a moment of stillness. Maybe it’s mindful breathing for two minutes. It might even mean to stay present while fully engaged in the activity at hand.

To just be is to celebrate the present. Most importantly, it is to celebrate who we are as human be-ings. A still moment, a mindful breath, and focused attention refuel our very essence. We honor ourselves and we acknowledge our presence, and divinity.
